On Tuesday, 4 of our GOLD Council members joined a First-Year Success Kickoff panel to talk with incoming Lions about the importance of social capital and building meaningful connections throughout their college experience.

The conversation highlighted how relationships with classmates, faculty, alumni, mentors, and campus organizations can open doors, build confidence, and contribute to long-term success.

We loved seeing our first-year students so engaged, asking questions, and actively participating in the conversation!

Thank you to Craig Marinello from Career Services for moderating the panel and to our GOLD Council members for sharing their experiences and helping our newest Lions GET THERE 💚💛
