Once again, our school has chosen to participate in Operation Christmas Child.
What is Operation Christmas Child? It is a Christian-based ministry (under Samaritan's Purse) that works to fulfill the needs of children all across the world. The goal of this campaign is to teach children generosity and compassion for others by bringing awareness that there are children elsewhere that may have very little. This gives your child the opportunity to do something practical, yet simple, that can bless other children around the world.
We would love for every family to participate, so please pick up a box (or more) in the office. Inside each box you will find a label with instructions. It also includes a “Let’s Be Friends!” sheet where your child can write a note to the shoe box recipient.
If you would like to participate, please pick up a box to fill and return it with $10 on or before Monday, November 16th. The $10 is for processing and shipping. You can pay online by scanning the QR code on the label. You can also write a check for $10 to Samaritan’s Purse and place it in the box. The QR code also allows you to track the destination country of your box.
