We are proud to celebrate Ms. Lucy Torres, our 6th Grade ELA teacher, for being honored by the Allen Law Group as a Teacher of Excellence!

Ms. Torres goes above and beyond each and every day for the students and families of Edison Elementary. While she does amazing work in the classroom helping students grow as readers, writers, and thinkers, her impact reaches far beyond academics. From leading our Leadership Club to helping organize special events like Edison’s Got Talent, Ms. Torres consistently gives her time, energy, and heart to make Edison a better place for everyone.

Her dedication, positivity, and commitment to our students do not go unnoticed. Edison is truly lucky to have Ms. Torres as part of our school family.

6th Grade Leadership Club’s last school project! Monday May 19th, students painted rocks that they will place in the mulch in the front of the school. Students wanted to leave Edison on a positive note with a fun project for everyone to enjoy. We also had some younger student helpers!

We would like to extend our gratitude to Anthem Church for providing a wonderful lunch for our staff last Wednesday. Their team went above and beyond, serving hot dogs and a baked potato bar that was expertly prepared and presented. We were thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and appreciated their kindness immensely. Thank you to the members of Anthem Church for their generosity.
