We're excited to share that Dr. Rebecca Davis, Kristina Bankston, and Lynsey Neuville recently presented on Technology Last Backward Design at the newly rebranded International Society for Transforming Education's ISTELive 26.

The presentation encourages educators to plan using Backward Design, not technology, and to evaluate whether a digital tool meaningfully enhances student learning before implementing it. When technology doesn't add value, research-based instructional strategies should be used, ensuring students are engaging with screens when it increases skill and knowledge.
