A HUGE congratulations to Sara Nyhus and her drawing titled a "A Master Thief", she is Mr. Reimers first in a long line of amazing artists to earn a recognition at the Phipps Center Exhibition. Check it out at the Hammond Library later this week through the weekend!

Mady finished up her mural in the HS commons today. She has worked incredibly hard over the last few months, and did an amazing job bringing some color to the space!

The High School IDS class made some easter puzzles on the laser cutter in the FabLab last week, the turned out awesome!

The district wide art show is coming up in a few weeks! This year it will be a combined show with the Elementary, Middle, and High School students above the Hammond Community Library! We are trying something new this year, so come out and support our local young artists on May 10th for the opening. It will be up for viewing through the weekend for those who can't make it.
Just a heads up, Mr. Rhode, Mrs. DuMond and I will be displaying art works during the District Community Showcase next Friday for the grand opening of our new auditorium and facilities! Pics will be posted next week of the set up, hope to see you all there.

I never posted it but Carolyne and Camille finished up their Edward Hopper reproduction located in the HS commons. It turned out absolutely amazing 😲, well done ladies, I'm extremely proud of you!
