Awards & Recognition 03/29/2020

“I’m Alive. And I Write: Voices from the 2019 New Orleans Writing Marathon,” will be re-broadcast by KSLU (90.9), the campus station of Southeastern Louisiana University, on Sunday, March 29, at 2 P.M. (Central Time).

The show features a dozen writers from Writing Marathons held at a five-day Writing Retreat that the Southeastern Louisiana Writing Project and National Writing sponsored last summer in New Orleans.

If you are out of radio range, simply go to KSLU’s webpage (http://www.kslu.org) to listen live over the Internet.

The show will also be archived on KSLU’s “Awards and Recognitions” webpage as “2019 Writing Marathon,” and you can hear it there (along with past Writing Project shows) at any time at this address: http://www.kslu.org/awards_recognition/index.html.

We hope you will tune in and listen to this celebration of writing, New Orleans, and writing teachers of the National Writing Project.

Richard Louth

Director, Southeastern Louisiana Writing Project

We hope you'll be able to tune in, share it, and feel part of the marathon magic again. Dates for 2020's retreat are on hold now, but we hope you're writing and will be able to gather with us again on the other side of this.

Be well and be a writer,

Tracy
