The Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Southeastern Louisiana University is home to more than 1,000 students studying Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Health & Physical Education, Health Sciences, and Sport Management.

CHAMP 2026 Thursday!
It was a perfect ending to an amazing week with the campers! Kids learned about screentime limits, played several engaging games, then each camper received a finisher medal and we had a super fun POOL PARTY!!

CHAMP 2026 Wednesday!
Super fun day at champ! The kids learned about healthy activities, ate healthy snacks, lifted weights, played games, and on the water slide with an outdoor water party!

CHAMP 2026 Tuesday!!
It was a wonderful day. The campers got to enjoy learning about healthy and unhealthy drink choices, bowling, water balloons, and lifting weights. After they made smoothies on bike blenders and finished the day with a relaxing yoga session!!

CHAMP 2026 Monday!
The campers had the best time with our book reading, shopping for healthy foods, water balloon fights, rock wall, and judo! What a fun morning for these awesome campers, KHS students, and volunteers.

Peyton completed an undergraduate and master’s degree plus certifications by the NSCA and USAW. He worked as a strength coach for both LSU and SLU prior to joining Ochsner Sports Performance in Baton Rouge, where he has advanced to Head Strength.
