On September 11, Ready Start Tangipahoa's Early Childhood Workforce Conference was a major success!

Hosted at Southeastern Louisiana University, over 200 participants from learning centers across Tangipahoa Parish gathered together to hear different early care and education strategies for our community's little learners.

We are so grateful to be a part of such a supportive community of leaders, educators, and early childhood team members who are passionate about early learning.

🌟 Professional Learning in Action! 🌟

Ready Start Tangipahoa staff members Lindsay Monteleone, Heidi Ledford, Christy Gray, and Carmen Brabham recently participated in a week-long Conscious Discipline Institute in Madison, Wisconsin!

Throughout the institute, our team gained valuable strategies to help children regulate their emotions and learned practical techniques teachers can use to support children when they are experiencing survival and emotional states. These tools will help strengthen our ability to create safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environments for the children and families we serve. 💙

And of course, the journey was even more special when they made new friends with fellow Louisianians along the way! ⚜️💛

We are proud of our team’s commitment to professional growth and their dedication to bringing new knowledge and skills back to Ready Start Tangipahoa!
