Over the summer, we implemented some name and organizational changes. The Department of Teaching and Learning is now the Department of Educator Preparation. The College of Education is now the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences.

We are starting this year with a new name, but one thing that has not changed is our commitment to your success.

Congratulations to Susan Sawyer, Instructor, and Jordan Lobell, Early Childhood Education Major.

Mrs. Sawyer was recently awarded the Outstanding Student Parent Advocate Award for her unwavering work to advocate for Southeastern students working to continue their education while caring for children of their own. Jordan was awarded the Jackie Dale Thomas Green "S" Award for her contributions to student life here at Southeastern.

We are proud to have these two represent the Department of Teaching and Learning!
