Job Responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times to ensure safety
• Create a nurturing and positive classroom environment
• Assist with daily learning activities and lesson plans
• Support children’s emotional and social development
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Communicate with parents about children’s progress
• Follow Louisiana childcare licensing regulations

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass criminal background check and fingerprinting
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Ability to work well with others

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in childcare
• CPR & First Aid Certification
• Early Childhood Education training
