Pitching Impressive As St. Croix Central Varsity Panthers Beat Somerset

Both teams were strong on the mound on Tuesday, but St. Croix Central Varsity Panthers defeated Somerset 3-0. Henry Pommier started the game for St. Croix Central Varsity Panthers and recorded 21 outs.

Henry Pommier didn't allow a run. Though Somerset did collect seven hits.

A double by Maverick Sullivan put St. Croix Central Varsity Panthers on the board in the top of the third.

Sabrowsky took the loss for Somerset. The starting pitcher went seven innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on eight hits, striking out four and walking one.

Blake Host and Brody Nusbaum each collected two hits for St. Croix Central Varsity Panthers. Gio Gresafe, Maverick Sullivan, and Heath Kent each drove in one run for St. Croix Central Varsity Panthers. St. Croix Central Varsity Panthers turned one double play in the game.

Donnelly went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Somerset in hits. Somerset turned three double plays in the game.

Next up for St. Croix Central Varsity Panthers is a game against Somerset on Thursday.

Tuesday the boys travel to Somerset.
