REaCH Beta Club/Beta Members Compete at National Beta Convention


Hamlet, NC June 23, 2026 – National Beta members from REaCH recently participated in the 2026 National Beta Convention held at the Ga***rd Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Students joined thousands of Beta members from across the United States to celebrate academic achievement, leadership, character, and service while competing in a variety of national competitions. During the convention, members from REaCH earned recognition in the following events: Noah Goodman ~ Grade 9 Social Studies, Third Place

National Convention provides opportunities for students in grades 4-12 to showcase their talents through individual and team competitions, leadership experiences, service initiatives, networking opportunities, and educational programming. The annual event brings together top-performing students who have advanced through state conventions and earned the opportunity to compete on the national stage.

The 2026 National Beta Convention, themed "Wired for Success," welcomed thousands of attendees for a week of competition, celebration, and student achievement.

“We are incredibly proud of our REaCH Beta students for their outstanding performance at Nationals,” said National Beta advisor Nikki Covington. “Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence were evident, and they represented our school with distinction. REaCH is especially thrilled to congratulate Noah Goodman for earning 3rd place in the Grade 9 Social Studies Academic Competition—an impressive achievement that reflects both his academic talent and perseverance.
Beyond the competitions, REaCH students also had the opportunity to create lasting memories—enjoying an off-Broadway production of Hamilton, experiencing a cruise along the Cumberland River aboard the General Jackson Showboat, and spending an unforgettable evening at the Grand Ole Opry House. These experiences, combined with their academic success, made this trip remarkable.”

National Beta promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among elementary and secondary school students. REaCH started off Teach Appreciation Week in a Fan-tastic way on Monday! Yesterday, we enjoyed such a delicious meal from THE BEAN and CHEESE.🫕
Today, our very own,Anna Sanford, created the most beautiful REaCH treasures for everyone ☕️💙 They are gorgeous and cherished by all❤️
Teachers and staff have also been gifted with tokens of love from our wonderful clubs. Senate and S.A.V.E. club members have provided sweet treats and self care bags.
We will continue to shower them with much deserved appreciation for all that they do! 🐺💙
