📚 Title I Parent Night at MAES! 📚

What a great evening at MAES! We had about 65 parents and students join us for Title I Parent Night.

Everyone had the opportunity to meet with their child’s teacher, learn more about Title I and how we support student learning, enjoy dinner together, and leave with free books to encourage reading at home. 📖

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening a success! We appreciate your partnership and commitment to helping our students Level Up! 🐯💙🧡

At our September faculty meeting, we took a little time to have some fun! 🎉

Each staff member picked a superlative and then had the chance to present it to a fellow staff member who they felt best fit the title. It was a fun way to recognize each other, celebrate our personalities, and share plenty of laughs along the way! 😂

We have some awesome people at MAES! 💙🧡

Homecoming Spirit Week is coming up, and our elementary schools are joining the fun September 28 through October 2! 🎉 Get those outfits ready for a full week of Homecoming spirit!

📼 Thursday: Throwback Thursday
💚 Friday: Green & Gold Day

All outfits should be school-friendly and follow the regular dress code. Masks, weapons, and costume accessories such as swords or shields are not allowed.

We can’t wait to see our students show their spirit all week long! 💛

💻 Happy National IT Appreciation Day!

We’re grateful for our IT Department and all they do to keep MAES connected and running smoothly. Thank you for your hard work and support every day!

As a small token of our appreciation, we treated them to Chick-fil-A for lunch! 🐔💙🧡

Ms. Mitchell’s science students had a blast with the classic “Elephant Toothpaste” STEM experiment! Students observed a chemical reaction as hydrogen peroxide rapidly broke down, producing oxygen gas, water, and a HUGE stream of foamy suds! 🫧

The best part? Students could instantly recognize that a chemical change had occurred—and they had a great time learning through hands-on science! 🔬🧪

Great job, scientists! 🐯

We had not one, but TWO classes earn our PBIS Class of the Week recognition this week! 🎉
