Second Baptist Christian Academy It is our desire to offer a quality Christian education in a loving, nurturing environment.

History & Heart

Second Baptist Christian Academy is a ministry of Second Baptist Church. Established in 1998 as a pre-school program, Second Baptist Christian Academy has since grown to a full-scale school offering an educational platform that includes a pre-school and Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. In 2010, our campus expanded to include a new Family Education Center housing eight new classrooms, a gymnasium, and media center.

It is our desire to offer a quality Christian education in a loving, nurturing environment. We strive to help children reach their full potential by administering a structured, God-centered curriculum from Bob Jones University (BJU) and Purposeful Design. It is our goal to offer students a firm foundation in Biblical teaching while achieving a solid Christian education.

Each child is given by God specific gifts and talents. It is the responsibility of parents and educators to help "unwrap" those gifts so our children will become productive members of our society.

What a blessing the past week has been. Seeing the students light up as grandparents and hand-picked family showed up to celebrate with them.

Seeing their school family and church family showing up to love and support them in the moments they needed. We are grateful for the influences you all are in their lives!

"Children’s children are a crown to the aged, and parents are the pride of their children." - Proverbs 17:6
