Building a Future Ready Harris County

Today, Superintendent Michael Barden had the opportunity to share his vision for the future of the Harris County School District during the Harris County Chamber of Commerce Meet & Greet Luncheon.

Mr. Barden highlighted HCSD's commitment to becoming a Future Ready School District by focusing on two guiding pillars: Operational Excellence and Instructional Excellence. He emphasized that every decision begins with one important question: "Is this what's best for our students?"

He also spoke about the power of strong community partnerships, recognizing that the success of Harris County Schools is built on the support of families, businesses, community organizations, and dedicated employees working together to prepare every student for successโ€”whether that path leads to college, technical education, military service, or a rewarding career.

Thank you to the Harris County Chamber of Commerce for the warm welcome and for your continued partnership in supporting public education. Together, we are investing in our students, strengthening our community, and building a brighter future for Harris County.
