Up next, we’re excited to introduce Mark Narmore! 🎶

Raised in Center Star, Alabama, where he still lives today, Mark began his songwriting career at FAME Publishing in Muscle Shoals and has spent an incredible 39 years making his mark in the music industry.

He’s best known for writing “Moon Over Georgia” for Shenandoah, “That’s What I Love About Sunday” for Craig Morgan, and “Like There Ain’t No Yesterday” for BlackHawk.

His songs have also been recorded by Josh Turner, Reba, Alabama, John Michael Montgomery, Neal McCoy, Brandy Clark, and many others.

Mark continues to write and perform and remains an active part of the legendary Muscle Shoals music community.

We’re so excited to have him joining us for Legacy Songwriter Showcase Night! ❤️🎵

We’re going to spend the next few days introducing you to the incredible special guests joining us for The Legacy’s Songwriter Showcase Night! 🎶

And we’re kicking things off with Hamilton’s own Steven Dale Jones! 👏

He really doesn’t need much of an introduction… but we’re going to name-drop anyway. 😉

A Grammy-nominated, Dove Award-winning songwriter, Steven has written songs recorded by some of the biggest names in country and Christian music, including Reba McEntire, Diamond Rio, George Strait, Alabama, Jordan Davis, Trace Adkins, Kenny Rogers, Randy Travis and many more.

His songwriting credits include “One More Day” by Diamond Rio, “He Gets That From Me” by Reba McEntire, “Singles You Up” by Jordan Davis, and countless other favorites.

From Hamilton to Nashville and back home again, Steven has built an incredible career doing what he loves — writing songs that connect with people. ❤️

And now we get to hear those stories and songs right here in Hamilton!

During one week in June, 35 students in kindergarten through sixth grade participated in the first-ever Camp Legacy Show Choir Camp. Throughout the week, campers learned a musical number with singing and choreography while building confidence and performance skills. Members of the Legacy Show Choir served as mentors, helping teach, encourage, and inspire the younger students. It was exciting to see how much the campers learned in just one week, and their enthusiasm made Camp Legacy a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved. We look forward to continuing this new tradition for years to come!!
