Today we welcomed Marshall High School’s Construction CTE students to our training center for a facility tour and a brief hands-on experience. Students were able to see our training labs, learn how apprenticeship combines classroom instruction with on-the-job training, and ask questions about career opportunities in the skilled trades.
Outreach efforts like this support workforce development by helping students explore career pathways and understand the skills needed to succeed in the construction and electrical industries. We appreciate Marshall High School for bringing their students out and for their continued commitment to career and technical education.
Building strong relationships with local schools is an important part of developing the future workforce and supporting our community!

Fairfield High School Interim Credential Training ⚡
We had another great day Wednesday hosting Fairfield High School students for their second visit as part of our new Interim Credential (IC) program — our first-ever partnership working directly with high school students!
The IC program gives students the opportunity to earn industry-recognized credentials and gain real hands-on experience in the electrical trade while still in high school.
Their first visit was more of an introduction and tour of the training center — but this week, they rolled up their sleeves and got to work! Students learned about safety and PPE, explored different types of meters, practiced with hand tools, discussed professional dress on the job, and even got hands-on with stripping and splicing conductors.
Fairfield students will continue visiting our training center once a month throughout the school year for more hands-on sessions and a closer look at what it takes to build a career in the electrical industry.
We’re proud to partner with Fairfield High School to help prepare the next generation of electricians!
