Tiny Caterpillars to Big Learners! 🐛✨
Our Eric Carle author study was a total whirlwind of color and discovery! This week, we didn’t just read—we explored through sensory play, gross motor activities, and hands-on science.

Our budding scientists tracked the entire life cycle of a butterfly! From tiny eggs to soaring wings, the students were mesmerized. Releasing them was a bittersweet moment, but a memory they’ll keep forever.
Standard-Based Fun: 🎓
At Little Generals Academy, every theme is designed to meet state standards. From building number sense with 1, 2, 3 to adding a new page to our year-long alphabet books, we make sure every “play” session is a “learning” session.
Snack Attack: 🍓🥒
We ate like the Hungry Caterpillar! The kids loved creating (and eating) their own caterpillars made from strawberries and cucumbers.
