What a great day celebrating our Fairfield East 5th graders! The day started with the 5th grade awards that also included beautiful speeches by some class representatives and a performance by the talented 5th grade choir members. Then the 5th graders enjoyed the beautiful weather with a picnic and an exciting cool down thanks to our Fairfield Fire department! We will miss this group of 5th graders but we look forward to them enjoying the next step of Middle School. They will always be welcome back at East!

Each year, we use a portion of our proceeds from the year’s fundraising to award a scholarship for a Fairfield graduate who attended Fairfield East.
This year’s recipient is Nihar Patel and presenting his scholarship to him is Mrs. Schoelwer, who taught him as a third grader here at East!
Congratulations Nihar Patel! You will do great things!

Mrs. Stuckwisch, our PE teacher and field day organizer, would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all of the volunteers today.
