Luggage Needed!!

Hello everyone! Have you heard about the ALAS Volunteer trip? 3 of our officers and our advisor have the opportunity to travel to Mexico at the end of this month to volunteer with local staff on the farms of Merida, Mexico. How can you help? ALAS is looking for gently used suitcases to transfer our personal luggage as well as extra supplies. We are also still raising funds for the trip! Thank you to everyone who came to our Native American Heritage Celebration on Monday! We hope you were able to learn something while creating your dreamcatchers. Send us pictures of your finished dreamcatchers!

The Association of Latino and American Students (ALAS) will be hosting an event on Monday November 18th, from 12pm-2pm in Wilks Conference Center on the Hamilton campus to celebrate Native American heritage. There will be live dance performances, free food, and create-your-own dream catchers. Everyone is welcome! We hope to see you there!

Miami University is hosting its first Career Discovery Conference for International Students. Learn! Discover! Contribute!
5 undergraduates and 4 graduates who have worked full-time, internship, or research experience will be sharing their career experience and presenting information regarding searching for and successfully completing jobs and internships in the U.S. and abroad.

Time: November 16, 2019 (Saturday): 10:00AM - 4:00PM
Location: 152 Shideler Hall

What will you get out of this conference?
Besides the valuable knowledge and information you will gain from the presentations and Q & A sessions, you will also receive:
