Friends Of Hamilton ISD Investing Today in Tomorrow's Future The organization was used to raise funds for the Hamilton High School gymnasium seats.

The Friends of Hamilton ISD Education Foundation was originally established in 1999 as a 501(c)(3) IRS approved non-profit organization. The organization was then used as a vehicle for donations to be applied for student scholarships. As of 2011 a new Board of Directors was established with the intention to revive the organization to make an impact on the community - raising money for and awarding scholarships and grants to students and teachers.

Make A Difference Monday!

FoHISD and Mrs. Luker are making a difference at HHS with this LED signage provided by a FoHISD grant.

Mrs. Luker commented that the "LED banner I received for my English classroom grant is a great way to promote school spirit, keep students involved, and is a "hub" for our common area at HHS. Our new principal at HHS, Mr. Craddick, has requested that my English classes write a grant for two more such banners to be managed by my special education students to be placed at the entrance of HHS and the exit of the building for more student awareness and involvement."
