Let’s get practical! Productivity is great and all, but dang it’s also exhausting. So instead of focusing on productivity for productivity’s sake, how about we set up systems that allow us to stop obsessing over all the things we need to get done, so we can spend that physical and mental space on more important things - our students, our kids, ourselves and our relationships.

We’re talking all things PLANNING as Sustainable Teachers this week, and it starts with today’s video on my channel that gives a full how-to tutorial on DIGITAL LESSON PLANNING. I give you two formatting options, both of which you can take and run with.

I love a good ol’ cut and paste matching activity in the classroom - ok, wait, I lied, no I don’t.

I have ALWAYS hated them and that’s because of 1) the HUGE mess it made that never seemed to get as cleaned up as I wanted it to be, and 2) because it was just SO MUCH when all I really needed was for my students to focus on the content.
