Queen of Peace staff and students recently celebrated their first mass of the school year. Staff members participated in readings, petitions and gifts and the QP choir led in song. It is said when you sing, you are praying twice!
What a great way to start the year- faith, fellowship and the QP family!

⚾️🏟️Congratulations to Queen of Peace 6th grader Hudson Vonderheide and his West Side Little League team! The boys, Great Lake regional champions, won today's game against Texas and will advance to play New Jersey in the Little League World Series tomorrow night at 7:00pm! Good luck boys!

The St. Vincent de Paul Society at Queen of Peace is collecting school supplies throughout the month of August to help children in our area start the school year with the supplies they need.
To help with their collection, we will have a St. Vincent de Paul donation bin available at Supply Drop-Off this Sunday, August 23 from 12:00–1:30 PM.
If you would like to help, please bring new school supplies with you and place them in the donation bin. Every donation, big or small, will help a local student be prepared for a successful school year.
If you are unable to donate on Sunday, collection bins are also located in the back of church, or donations may be dropped off at the parish office throughout August.
Thank you for helping us support St. Vincent de Paul and children in our community!

At Supply Drop on Sunday, 8/23, you can buy tickets to the Notre Dame Football Drawdown event scheduled for September 12th in the Queen of Peace cafeteria.
The event is free to attend. The $20 tickets make you eligible for cash prizes during the event.
This event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. Your purchase helps support their Catholic mission!
