Butler County Aspire Butler County ASPIRE Program GED® and HiSET® Test Preparation is included for anyone who wants to obtain a High School Equivalency diploma.

We want to help participants without a high school diploma obtain their diploma as quickly as possible. Basic Skills Update is available for all adults to improve reading, writing, and math skills. Teachers help students prepare for exams such as LPN, Para Pro, and Civil Service. Work Ready / Career Ready Work Keys Certification can help adults get better jobs or enter training programs to learn n

ew skills. Distance Learning options are available for students who can not regularly attend ABLE classes. English for Speakers of Other Languages is available to help people speak and read English. Computer assisted instruction is available. Students can also learn basic computer skills such as keyboarding and word processing.

Children are back to school and we welcome adults for our FREE classes at our various locations in Butler County. We have classes to help adults with learning English which are ESOL. The other classes we offer are to help adults prepare for high school equivalency diploma and WorkKeys tests (entrance test to get into some adult programs at Butler Tech). Celebrating continues as Airrhinna achieved her high school equivalency diploma and Raniah attained the scores needed to be accepted in the LPN program this upcoming August.
Our adult ESL class at Ohio Means Jobs celebrated in May the end of the school year and the success of communicating In English.

We had a fantastic week celebrating the achievements of our ESL and high school equivalency diploma graduates. Our graduation ceremony had guest speakers Ben Thaler, District Director for US Congressman Warren Davidson, along with Linda Hart, BCESC Director of Alternative Programs, and lastly Pat Moeller, Mayor for City of Hamilton which all speakers provided valuable and engaging insight. We are so proud of Michael for achieving his high school equivalency diploma! He had a some big changes in his life, but was able to accomplish his goal. Michael has more opportunities to decide what career he would like to pursue.
