Attention Ravalli County 4-H!

The Bitterroot Stockgrowers are looking for some volunteers to help with their upcoming annual banquet on Saturday October 10th at The Event Center at the Fairgrounds. The proceeds from the banquet support the 4-H livestock sale and scholarships including this years add-ons that they did for every member who went through the large animal 4-H / FFA Livestock Sale this year.

They are still looking for a couple kids under 14 to help them with setup Saturday. At least 2 members would be preferred!

If any 4-H members/families are interested in helping at this event please contact the Extension Office for more details!

It’s National 4-H Week, and we’re celebrating the incredible impact 4-H members, volunteers, and leaders make in our communities every day!

A special thank you to the Happy Hearts 4-H Club Stevensville Montanafor creating and submitting a display for the Ravalli County 4-H Display Competition. Your creativity, hard work, and 4-H spirit help showcase what 4-H is all about and inspire others to get involved.

📢 Reminder to all Ravalli County 4-H clubs: There’s still time to participate in the display competition! We encourage every club to create a display highlighting your club, your projects, and the opportunities 4-H provides to youth across our county.

Great job, Reegan!

Another one of the great local 4-H kids we were happy to support this year! 🍀🐑

Modern Recycling purchased Reegan Schlabach’s lamb at the Ravalli County 4-H & FFA Livestock Sale. We know how much time, work, and care goes into raising these animals, and it’s pretty special to see our local kids take pride in what they’ve accomplished.

We’re proud to be able to support Reegan and the other young people who help keep 4-H, agriculture, and our rural community strong.

This year, we had the privilege of purchasing Jaxon Henry’s Steer at the Ravalli County 4-H & FFA Livestock Sale.

For us, the livestock auction is about much more than purchasing an animal—it’s about supporting the hardworking local kids who dedicate countless hours to raising, caring for, and showing their livestock. Programs like 4-H and FFA teach responsibility, work ethic, leadership, and skills that are especially important in our rural communities.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to invest in these young people and help keep these valuable programs strong for years to come.

Congratulations, Jaxon, and thank you to all of the 4-H and FFA members, families, volunteers, and organizers who make our local fair and livestock sale possible!
