We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown to our community through their 2025 livestock donations. Your support has made a meaningful difference for local families and organizations!

A special THANK YOU to:

🐄 Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hamilton
🐄 Donaldson Bros Ready Mix
🐄 Massa Home Center
🐄 Scott Germann
🐄 TrailWest Bank
🐄 Valley Irrigation

for generously donating animals to Haven House.

We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to:

🐄 Advanced Millwright & Fabrication
🐄 Donaldson Bros Ready Mix
🐄 Done Right Foundations
🐄 Hamilton Physical Therapy
🐄 Harpers Les Schwab
🐄 Sleeping Willow Ranch
🐄 Snowy Mountain Rifle

for donating animals to support other local food banks and community organizations such as:
• Darby Bread Box
• Meals on Wheels
• S.A.F.E.
• Stevensville Food Bank
• Victor School

Thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and helped make these contributions possible at the 2025 4-H & FFA Livestock Sale. Consider donating an animal this year!

🎡Planning to support a 4-H kid at the fair this year? You can double your impact while you’re at it!

Every year, folks from across the Bitterroot show up at the fair to support our 4-H kids. They bid on animals and celebrate the months of hard work these kids have put in.

And sometimes, they’re there simply because they want to support a kiddo—not because they necessarily need a freezer full of meat.

If that’s you, you can help feed your neighbors at the same time! 💛

1️⃣ You still purchase the animal just like you normally would, supporting that 4-H kid and all the work they’ve put in.

2️⃣ Then simply have the meat sent to Hamilton Pack and let them know you’d like to donate it to Haven House.

👋 We’ll cover the processing!!!

These donations make a HUGE difference.

Last year, animals donated through this program provided enough breakfast sausage to help stock Haven House for months!!

That meant locally raised meat going home with families throughout Hamilton and Corvallis. It meant something substantial for breakfast, to help fill kids up before they headed off to school.

💚 Your purchase supports a local 4-H kid.
💛 Your donation helps put locally raised meat on your neighbors' tables.

Getting Ready for the 2026 Ravalli County Fair!

It’s almost time for the 4-H Livestock Auction!

This event is a chance to invest in our community’s youth, fill your freezer, and keep agricultural traditions strong in the Bitterroot Valley.

Make plans to stop by the auction, and show your support!

If you are planning to participate in the auction and send your animals to Bar MW Meats for processing, we have attached some important information regarding processing. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions as we get closer to the big day (406-961-0059).

This year, the shop will be OPEN Saturday, September 5th during our regular hours (9:00am to 3:00pm)! While we’ll have a team at the shop ready to help you, we’ll also have members of the Bar MW Meats crew at the 4-H Livestock Auction showing our support for the hardworking 4-H kids in our community, and answering any questions you may have regarding processing. We’re proud to support these young livestock exhibitors and the time, dedication, and effort they put into their projects!

The first ever 4-H & FFA Youth Volunteer Day is a wrap!

Thanks to the support of the Ravalli County Fair Commission and the County Commissioners - 4-H & FFA youth were able to earn weeklong Fair Gate Passes through volunteer work.

On Saturday, July 18th over 100 youth and parents showed up to help us complete projects that were for the betterment of the grounds in preparation of Fair. These projects included getting the livestock barns cleaned and set up, lots of power washing, weeding around the rodeo grounds, cleaning horse stalls, and painting almost all the benches that get set out for Fair.

After 6 hours of hard work in the heat the weather turned into rain and thunderstorms forcing us to wrap up projects rather quickly.

A huge thank you to the County Maintenance Staff that helped set up all our projects and provided us with access to supplies all day and to Fair Commission Members that were able to join us to see all the great work being completed.

Thank you!

The Ravalli County Fair Commission and County Commissioners approved a 4-H and FFA volunteer event where youth who participate and volunteer during the event will receive a weeklong fair pass! We will be working with superintendents & Fairgrounds Stakeholders to determine the projects - some of which would have been projects completed during regular set-up. Please arrive by 8:45 AM to check-in at the 4-H Sale Shed (near Hornung Arena). Once checked in, you will learn about the different projects and can choose where to volunteer for the day. After the day has been completed, you must check-out at the 4-H Sale Shed.

Adults: Adults are welcome and encouraged to participate as well! Adults will be subject to the regular Fairgrounds volunteer policy. Adults will receive a day gate pass in exchange for 4 hours of volunteer work.

Please note: Any adult who volunteers and wishes to receive a day pass must register on ZSuite as well. Adults must also complete a background check with the Fairgrounds Office. Contact the Fairgrounds Office for more information 406.363.3411
