One of my strong beliefs is that you can focus on the character you want and attain it, but it comes with many physical changes.
I just realized in talking with someone the other day that it’s been just about 10 years since I left Barstow.
I would describe my last decade as a rocket ship. I got to join the Screen Actors Guild, won some acting and modeling awards in New York, got married, had a son, started multiple businesses, own multiple properties, help with multiple local non profits, help coach my son’s football team, and spend time with my family to name a few of the majors.
Sometimes leaving your area is tough. Leaving or friends is even tougher. Changing careers can be scary.
Just remember, you can always go back and visit. You can keep in contact with your friends easier than ever. You can always go back to your old job or career.
If you want better it starts with that personal bravery. The leap of faith that will allow you to soar.
Just wanted to share this because I’m sure some feel stuck in their rut or trapped by life now more than ever in their lifetime.
You can do it. Be brave and have faith.
