Toddler B: Summer Days ☀️🏖️

Our Toddler B friends enjoyed beach-themed dramatic play for our Summer Days unit! They explored sunglasses, hats, beach balls, and pretend beach fun while building language, social skills, imagination, and confidence.

Today our school-age campers became little engineers during All About Cincy Week!

Using pool noodles, cardboard, tape, pipe cleaners, and teamwork, they worked together to design and build their own bridge structures inspired by Cincinnati’s riverfront and bridges. This hands-on STEM activity encouraged creativity, problem-solving, communication, and trial-and-error learning.

We love watching our campers explore, create, and connect with our city! 💙🌉

Infant Room: Summer Days ☀️🏖️

Our infant friends explored soft beach balls during our Summer Days unit! This simple activity supports sensory exploration, reaching, grasping, sitting balance, and early cause-and-effect learning.

Our Toddler B friends practiced the sign for “water” as part of our Summer Days unit! We love building language through signs, visuals, repetition, and hands-on learning.

Toddler A: Summer Days Learning ☀️🌊

Our Toddler A friends started their Summer Days unit with a hands-on beach matching activity! This is an activity we will continue daily as the children become more familiar with summer items like flip-flops, swimsuits, shorts, and beach towels.

Activities like this help our toddlers build early matching skills, problem-solving, fine motor development, language, and confidence. Each day, they will have the chance to practice, explore, and grow through repetition and play.

Summer Days are here! ☀️🫧💦

We kicked off our new unit, Summer Days, with bubble fun and water exploration! Our little learners enjoyed popping bubbles, splashing, scooping, pouring, and exploring with friends.
Through this simple summer play, children practiced sharing, taking turns, using their words, strengthening fine motor skills, and exploring cause and effect — all while having so much fun!

Our older toddlers have been busy exploring our garden theme through hands-on play! 🌸🌿 From searching for flowers outside to planting, watering, pretending, and working together in our classroom flower shop, they’re learning through curiosity, movement, and imagination.
