Hi, everyone! I am Mrs. (Destiny) Rhodes and I am beyond excited to be returning to the school family—this time as a First Grade Teacher! 🥳
Before beginning my journey in education, I spent the last 14 years in healthcare. During that time, I had the privilege of caring for people through some of life’s most difficult moments. Those experiences strengthened my compassion, patience, and commitment to serving others. Now, I am thrilled to begin a new chapter helping young learners grow, build confidence, and develop a love for learning. My time working at this school over the past few years confirmed that education is exactly where I’m meant to be. When I’m not at school, I enjoy traveling, making memories with my children, and trying new adventures together. I can’t wait to meet my amazing first graders and partner with their families for a wonderful school year!

Hey! I’m Mr. (Chandler) Hoffert, and I am so excited to join the FPA team this year as a kindergarten teacher! Born in IL, I grew up and went to school in Fairfield and I’m honored to be back where I started my own school journey. I started college at the University of Cincinnati as an acting major, (we see where that went) and the last 5 years of my professional career have been in trauma-informed behavioral health. Initially working for a non-profit that functioned in schools and partnered with youth homes and youth/family focused programs, and most recently full time in school-based pediatric behavioral health. For me, teaching was always involved in that work. I am very passionate about education, and the importance of the formative years of schooling. Every child deserves to come to school and be entrusted to a team of safe educators and coaches, and I am excited to join that very team at FPA this year! I want my classroom to be a place where learning happens with structure, empathy, accountability, joy, and connection. I like to have fun. I have a lot of energy. Kindergarteners usually follow suit.. In my free time I like to play music, enjoy going to concerts with friends, musical theater, NASCAR, and 80s movies. Start your engines… See you in class!

If your child was born between 2014 and 2020 and has even the slightest interest in playing soccer this season, please complete the Soccer Interest Form TODAY! Filling out the form does not commit your child to playing—it simply lets us know who is interested so we can build our teams and share more information.

Congratulations to Fairfield Preparatory Academy on earning 2 honors at the annual Accely Awards Dinner on July 7!

🎒✏️ Back-to-School Supply Lists Are Here! 🍎🐯

Back-to-school sales are already beginning, so we wanted to give our Fairfield Prep families a head start before popular items become harder to find!

📚 School supply lists are now available in our school-wide ClassDojo. Be sure to check your child’s grade-level list so you can take advantage of those early sales.

🧡 Supply Drop-Off & Back to School Celebration
📅 Monday, August 10th
🕓 4:00–6:00 PM

Families are encouraged to bring their student’s school supplies to our Back to School Celebration. Dropping them off ahead of the first day helps teachers prepare classrooms and gives students a smoother, more organized start to the school year.
