The latest dispatch from New Haven Independent's coverage of the fellowship came out today! "Miller, who has taught for a decade, said mentoring Givens has prompted her to reexamine her own teaching practices while bringing 'a breath of fresh air' into the classroom. 'This has all reignited my love for teaching.'" 🤗💞

A group of New Haven Academy freshmen leaned over their desks, closely reading a short passage of text to try to understand not just what characters said -- but also what their body language communicated about themselves and the story they were in.
