Hamden High School PTSA

The PTSA Executive Board will be having an AFTER PROM meeting on Tuesday, April 28th at 7pm in Room A216. At this time we will finalize the theme for the After Prom, Discuss dates that we will come to start making some of the decorations, follow up on the raffle prizes and food donations and get others involved.

Currently the Mixed Bag Fund Raiser raised close to $400. The Fashion Show was also held and the students who participated had a great time with a good turnout. The Hamden Chronicle had an add this past week that asked for volunteers and support for the after prom and a Pay Pal Account was set up on the HHS website where people can donate directly to the fund.

Please consider getting involved! Bring a friend to Tuesday's meeting! We hope to see you all there!

We would like to say thank you to all the volunteers, staff, vendors, parents and guests for coming out to the Annual Fashion Show hosted last evening. We also thank our Emcee Joey for creating an evening of entertainment! Most of all we thank all of our Student Models. The ladies were all beautiful as the gentlemen were so handsome. We cannot wait to see how they all look on Prom Night as well as at the After Prom!!!

Just a reminder that PTSA meeting is this Tuesday, April 7th. 7:00pm general meeting and after prom committee meetings. Hope to see you there!

Hamden High School After Prom

Join us on Monday, March 9th at 7PM at HHS in Room C107 for our monthly PTSA meeting with guest speaker, Steven Del Grego of the Hamden Education Foundation. This meeting is open to all parents, students, teachers and administrators. After the general meeting we will be having a meeting to discuss After Prom, so if you are looking to assist in any way we encourage all to attend. Hello Hamden High School parents!

If you are in contact with any parents from Hamden who currently have a child in the eighth grade, please let them know that we are having an information session tomorrow, December 2nd. The meeting will take place in the auditorium at 6:00pm. During the session, parents will learn about course offerings, schedules, sports, arts, extra-curricular activities and supports specifically designed to help our freshmen succeed as they transition to high school. Hello Families,

At around 11:40 this morning, a bomb threat was made to the High School. ALL students and staff were safely evacuated to the football field. We are currently awaiting clearance from Hamden Police for a reentry to the school.
