I'm asking for your support for Best Video during "The Great Give", today and tomorrow, May 6 and 7. This is New Haven's annual fundraising drive to help local non-profits.
Best Video is an important community gathering place, especially for music. GuitartownCT has presented thirty-five concerts there, and held many, many bluegrass jams.

Bob & Sarah Amos present a wide variety of songs in a captivating and intimate style, accompanied by Bob's formidable guitar talents.
He was longtime leader of the bands Front Range and Catamount Crossing, and is an award-winning songwriter, who has written songs for Hot Rize, Danny Paisley, Junior Sisk, Audie Blaylock, Special Consensus, The Chapmans and more.
The duo's song “Hills That I Call Home” reached #1 on the Folk Alliance International chart, while their album "Ever Onward" reached #1 on the Folk DJ national chart.
Bob's songs reflect many influences and styles including folk, bluegrass, blues, and Celtic. Sarah Amos, a vocalist of power and emotional conviction, has been singing with her father for 12 years.

Our friend Joe Walsh returns to the area on April 18, with a hand-picked band of his favorite bluegrass players. He calls the band Red Skies, and it includes Joe on mandolin, B.B. Bowness on banjo, Alex Rubin on guitar, and Steve Roy on bass.
The concert is Saturday, April 18, 7:30 pm, at Neighborhood Music School, 100 Audubon Street, New Haven, CT.
