Early childhood educators are the quiet architects of our future, shaping young minds during the most critical years of brain development. ACES PDSI is proud to collaborate with these dedicated professionals whose impact echoes far into the future. Through nurturing relationships and intentional teaching, they build the foundation for social-emotional growth that children carry for a lifetime. Every moment of care, curiosity, and connection helps children develop the skills they need to thrive in school and beyond. 💛 “Anyone who does anything to help a child in his life is a hero to me.” — Fred Rogers

🎨✨ Artsy Thursday – Celebrating Process Art! ✨🎨
Today we’re celebrating the beauty of process art where the focus is on exploration, creativity, and the joy of making, not the final product!
One powerful way to support process art is through loose parts play. Loose parts are open-ended materials (like shells, fabric, wood pieces, buttons, and recycled items) that children can move, combine, design, and reimagine in endless ways. There are no directions, just creativity led by the child! When children engage with loose parts, they are building critical skills like problem-solving, creativity, communication, and confidence—all while expressing themselves through art and play.
🌿 We’re excited to highlight EcoWorks CT (www.ecoworksct.org) as a wonderful resource for loose parts materials! Their focus on sustainability and repurposed items makes it easy to bring meaningful, open-ended materials into your classroom or home.
💡 Process art + loose parts =
✔ Child-led creativity
✔ Hands-on exploration
✔ Endless possibilities
✔ Joyful learning
Let’s celebrate children as artists, thinkers, and creators! 💛
