A little bit of academics, a whole lot of hands-on learning, and plenty of Owl pride! 💙💛
Our 9th graders kicked off their journey with shop safety and their very first Exploratory rotation 🔧👩‍🔧—getting their first taste of the many pathways Eli Whitney Tech has to offer.
And one of the best parts? Watching our 12th graders step up as leaders, guiding and supporting our newest Owls through the process. 🦉💪

We’re continuing our New Staff Spotlight by welcoming Edwin Riggs, our new Electrical Technology teacher! 🔌⚡
Edwin joins us from the Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) and brings valuable real-world experience straight into the classroom.
🎓 Fun Fact: Edwin is actually a product of our own technical high school system! He attended Bullard-Havens before building his career—and now he’s coming full circle to help prepare the next generation of skilled tradespeople. 🔧⚡
