📣Be a Room Parent this year!
The WW PTA is looking for Room Parents to support teachers and students this school year! Room Parents play an important role in building classroom communities, assisting teachers and keeping families connected. What does a Room Parent do?
- Serve as a communication link between the teacher, parents and PTA
- Help plan classroom events and celebrations
- Recruit volunteers and gather supplies for parties and projects
- Coordinate a class holiday gift for the teacher (group-funded)
- Support PTA during Teacher Appreciation Week activities
- Grade 5: Assist with Grade 6 Promotion activities
- Grade 6: Serve on the Sixth Grade Activity Committee and participate in fundraising such as the Election Day Bake Sale and Grade 6 Fun Night.

Room Parents will be chosen by lottery during the first PTA Meeting on September 16 at 5:30 PM (held during the West Woods Open House).
