Hamden Hall subscribes to the philosophy of a ‘sound mind in a sound body’ for each student.

Our athletics program is an integral part of the educational process at Hamden Hall; combining with classroom instruction, student government, the arts, and other extracurricular activities to provide students the best opportunity for personal growth. We believe that athletics is an integral part of the educational process, combining with classroom instruction, student government, the arts, and other extra-curricular activities to provide students with the best opportunity for personal growth and success. We strive to develop the unique potential of each student-athlete: physical, mental, social, and ethical qualities to perform as an individual or part of a team dedicated to a common goal and purpose. We are dedicated to helping student-athletes develop a positive self-image as well as a sense of confidence, independence, and leadership. To further enhance our athletic experience, our Skiff Street Athletic Complex is located one mile north of the main campus. The 30-acre facility features a multi-sport artificial turf stadium, multiple fields, six outdoor tennis courts, and our $13 million Beckerman Athletic Center. Called the BAC, the 65,000-square-foot facility includes a natatorium, three basketball courts with an elevated jogging track, fitness center, multipurpose aerobics and dance room, locker rooms, student lounge, and study center.

Hamden Hall was proud to once again host Coach Joe Linta's annual Football Skills Clinic. More than 100 young athletes spent the weekend building their football skills while learning valuable lessons about teamwork, leadership, and character.

Thank you to Coach Linta, JL Sports, the NFL players, and all of the volunteers who made this special tradition possible. We are honored to be part of an event that makes such a positive impact on so many young athletes each year.
