The university welcomed members of its Class of 2016 at our first two orientation sessions of the year on June 1-2 and 8-9 on our Mount Carmel Campus. Our orientation leaders helped our incoming freshmen move in, get acquainted with each other and the university and get acclimated to college life.

Quinnipiac students, faculty and staff welcomed admitted students and their families to our three campuses on March 31 and April 1.

More than 19,000 students applied for 1,700 spots within the Class of 2016. University President John L. Lahey weclomed students saying, "You have all the right qualities and abilities to succeed and prosper at Quinnipiac University."
