3rd graders enjoyed their field trip to the CT Stem Academy. Students learned about motion and stability and had the opportunity to build air gliders and model car using every day materials. Students tested out their creations and left the academy with a new understanding of air space and mechanical engineering.

Our gym had a spectacular view last night! 🌎 It was filled with beautiful people representing their culture from all around the world. 👘🥻💃🫔🌯 ! Thank you CAFE PTA for making this happen. We appreciate all that you do for our school community!

3rd grade students had their annual therapy dog visit and mental health awareness workshop with visiting presenters from the Hamden Youth Service Bureau and Southern Connecticut State University police department. In addition to learning how to regulate their emotions, students learned how therapy and service dogs support mental health.

As part of Black Excellence Month, Mr. Berrie’s 3rd grade class hosted an arts workshop with guest artist, Ms. LeQuire. As part of the workshop, students selected, designed, and painted their favorite images of Historical African American figures.
