🌟 JOIN THE PTA!
Membership is just $20 per family for the school year! Your membership helps us provide fun activities, events, and support for our Dunbar Hill students and staff. Return the membership form to school or use the QR code to join!

🌟 BECOME A ROOM PARENT!
We are looking for 1–2 room parents for each classroom. Interested in helping your child’s class? Complete the room parent form and return it to school. We’d love to have you join us!

🌟 MUM FUNDRAISER 🌸
Mum fundraiser forms went home this week! Please consider supporting our PTA while also supporting Paradise Nurseries. It’s a great way to help our school and brighten up your fall! 🍂🌼

The first day of school is here, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome all of our Dunbar Hill students and families back for the 2026–2027 school year! 💙

You should have received your student’s placement letter in the mail.

📝 Emergency Contact & Transportation Forms
Please return these forms to the main office as soon as possible. Instructions for submitting the forms can be found on the back of each form.

🚌 Bus Routes
Bus transportation routes have been posted on the Hamden Public Schools website. You can find them here:

🍎 Free Breakfast & Lunch
All Dunbar Hill students will once again receive free breakfast and lunch this school year! As a reminder, there will be NO breakfast served on the first day of school.

Hi Dunbar families, we hope you are having a wonderful summer! ☀️There are still a few weeks to soak up the summer fun, but we hope you’ll join us to meet our new principal, Mrs. Franklin, this Wednesday, August 19th from 4:30-6pm on the Dunbar Hill playground. Parents must remain with their students during this event. We look forward to seeing you!
