First day for our M1s and M2s

Netter students are joining the Trainees for Child Injury Prevention () Day of Action to raise awareness about a serious and preventable hazard: button battery ingestion.

Each year more than 3,500 button battery ingestions are reported to U.S. poison control.

Ingestion of a button battery can cause serious internal injury in just a couple of hours. These small, powerful batteries are found in many household items and they pose a life-threatening danger if swallowed.
