The Annual Graduate Physical Therapy Club Volleyball Tournament was another great success! πŸβ˜€οΈ

This event provided a wonderful opportunity for students, faculty, and friends to connect outside the classroom, build community, and enjoy some friendly competition.

A special shoutout to our faculty team for their enthusiasm and participation throughout the tournament, and congratulations to this year's champions, Beta Blockers, for an exhilarating final match and a well-earned victory!
Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event such a memorable day. We look forward to continuing this tradition next year!

πŸ‘Ÿ Taking research one step further!

Dr. Brianne Borgia and DPT student Ally Zaffina recently presented their research at the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Annual Meeting. Their study, Cushion vs. Connection, explored how footwear cushioning and sensory feedback influence walking mechanics.

As a student in Quinnipiac's DPT program and student-athlete, Ally's work highlights the many opportunities for students to engage in research while balancing the demands of graduate school and collegiate athletics. We're proud to see the Department of Physical Therapy’s research making strides on the national stage!
