Mrs. Destiny’s Robotics class is off to an exciting start! 🤖 Students have been putting their engineering skills to work by designing and building a four-wheeled VEX robot capable of pulling a cart. This week, they are taking their projects to the next level by programming their robots to perform a simple shuffle. Students are learning how mechanical design and computer programming work together to bring their robots to life!

Mrs. Destiny’s Design & Modeling classes are in Week 2 of an exciting hands-on engineering challenge! Students are currently designing and building a custom foot orthotic while working within specific design requirements and using only the materials provided. This project is challenging students to think creatively, solve problems, test their ideas, and make thoughtful design decisions.
Next week, students will shift from designing and building to developing their presentations, where they will showcase their final products, explain their design process, and share the thinking behind their solutions.

The students completed a review packet by playing Jenga. The students worked in groups. Each student had to pull a Jenga block, and if it had a number on it, then that is the problem they worked on the review packet. Each grouped competed against each other to see which group could get the most correct.
