🌅 Senior Sunrise may have been a little cloudy, but that certainly didn’t stop the memories from being made. Our seniors gathered together for an early morning start, sharing laughs and making memories as they continue to celebrate all the special moments that come with their final year.

Every spring, HAHS The Royal Wardrobe provides students with the opportunity to find gently used formal attire for prom and other special events—helping make these memorable occasions a little more accessible for everyone. ❤️🤍

🔬 Teacher Feature: Bringing Cutting-Edge Research into the Classroom! 🔬

This summer, one of our high school biology teachers, Melissa Farina, traded her summer break for a lab coat! As part of the Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) program at Penn State Harrisburg, she’s been hard at work conducting vital biomedical research.

Her project focuses on diabetic nephropathy—specifically modeling how fluctuating blood glucose levels impact renal podocytes (cells crucial for kidney function) and testing potential protective treatments.

The best part? She isn’t keeping this knowledge in the lab. The cutting-edge skills, techniques, and insights she gained this summer will directly power new classroom research projects with her students this upcoming school year!

Huge shoutout to our dedicated educators who never stop learning and inspiring the next generation of scientists!

Parking passes for the 2026–2027 school year are now available in the High School Office. Students who will be driving at the start of the school year may stop by the office to pick up their parking pass between 7:00 AM and 2:30 PM.

To be approved for a parking pass, students must provide the following:
Driver’s license
Vehicle registration
Complete and submit a parking pass application. Applications can be picked up in the high school office or Click Here.
$5 parking fee
