Early Learning Classroom Spotlight: Hamburg Central School District

Third graders at Armor Elementary brought their community to life through the innovative Hamburg School Village Project!

Students designed and constructed a miniature model of the Village of Hamburg, applying STEM concepts, coding skills, mathematics, social studies, and artistic creativity. This is a shining example of how hands-on learning can strengthen perseverance, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while developing a richer connection to the local community.

You canā€™t do better than OG Mr Riddoch but our students did an amazing job ā€œrecreatingā€ him in all of their Thank You posters today.

Mr Riddoch shows up everyday with a smile, joke, high five and a contagious energy that lights up the halls of ! On a daily basis you can find him everywhere from the classroom, to the lunchroom, to the bus loop and sometimes even in his own office! There isnā€™t a role within the walls of our school he hasnā€™t filled and anyone who has met him knows heā€™s the heart of our building.

Happy Principalā€™s Day Mr. Riddoch! We hope you know how thankful we are that youā€™re ours!
