•bettas are great jumpers, if this tank didn’t have a lid, he would jump right out
•betta’s live an average of 3 years
•there are more than 70 different kinds of bettas in the wild
•male bettas are often more bright and varied in color

We got new sand! Many hands make light work.

First summer chapel with school age and preschool together - the big kids sat in front so the preschoolers could look up to them and follow their example and it was AMAZING!

We learned that nothing can separate us from God's love. We talked about the hard things that happened to the early church and related them to the hard things that happen now. It is so good to know that even when hard things happen, God is with us and we can never be separated from His love.

The school agers took on the job of choosing the Bible verse and Bible verse song for us to learn during our next chapel unit. It was super sweet to see how excited they were to start working on it. I told them that the only thing they had to remember was that we are learning about God's amazing love, so they should choose a verse about God's love. One of them piped up, "Do you want to know about my favorite verse? It's about Jesus on the cross. I love that."

The list of verses they chose from was from Seeds Kids Worship (they're amazing if you've never checked them out!) - and here is the winner!
