🎃🍬 SPRINGDALE TRUNK OR TREAT CANDY DRIVE! 🍬🎃

Springdale families, we need your help making our Trunk or Treat a SWEET success! 👻🍭 We are collecting bags of candy NOW through October 29. Please send candy donations with your child to help us have plenty of treats for everyone!

🏆 There’s also a class competition!
🥇 1st Place — 🍕 Pizza Party
🥈 2nd Place — 🍦 Ice Cream Party
🥉 3rd Place — 🍿 Popcorn Party

Every bag counts! 💜 The more candy we collect, the more treats we can give our students during Trunk or Treat. If we do not collect enough candy, we may have to cancel the event, so we truly appreciate every donation!

Our 3rd grade scientists put their learning into action! 🦅💙💛 Students conducted an investigation, collected and analyzed data, and used their findings to explain how the strength of a push affects the distance a toy car moves.

Through hands-on exploration, our Eagles are learning to investigate, measure, observe, and explain the world around them! 🌟🔬

📏💧 3rd Grade Mathematicians in Action! 🧮✨

Our Springdale Eagles in Ms. Cantú’s class took math beyond the textbook with some hands-on learning! 💙💛 Our 3rd graders practiced estimating and measuring liquid volume using liters and milliliters. Students made estimates, selected appropriate units, measured different amounts of liquid, and compared their estimates to their actual measurements.

Learning by doing helps our mathematicians make meaningful connections between math and the real world! 🌎💧

¡Nuestros Eagles de Springdale de la clase de Ms. Cantú llevaron las matemáticas más allá del libro con aprendizaje práctico! 💙💛 Nuestros estudiantes de 3er grado practicaron estimar y medir el volumen de líquidos usando litros y mililitros. Our Springdale Eagles put on their scientist hats and got hands-on with learning! 💙💛 Our 3rd graders conducted experiments to investigate mass, temperature, magnetism, and buoyancy while making observations, asking questions, and using evidence to better understand the world around them.

Science comes to life when our students get to investigate, discover, and learn by doing! 🧑‍🔬👩‍🔬✨
