🐍❤️💙 WHAT DOES THE CENTRAL LINN PTC ACTUALLY DO? 💙❤️🐍

With the new school year in full swing, we wanted to take a minute to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about what the PTC does — and where your fundraising dollars go!

You may have seen us at school events, but did you know we also have an onlineCobra Store?! 🐍👕✨ We sell Cobra gear and other fun items throughout the year, and those purchases help support our students and classrooms!

So…what does the money raised by the PTC actually pay for?

📚 $20 PER STUDENT FOR EVERY TEACHER!
Each classroom teacher receives $20 per student to use toward things that directly benefit their class — including:
• 🎉 Class parties
• 🚌 Field trips
• ✏️ Classroom activities and projects
• And other classroom needs throughout the year!

🎓 FUN + EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES
We are also working toward bringing 1–2 fun, educational assemblies to our school each year! We want our students to have experiences that are exciting, memorable AND give them the opportunity to learn something new.

🎪 SCHOOL EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
The PTC also helps support and organize activities that bring our school community together throughout the year — because elementary school should be about more than just worksheets! 😉

🙋‍♀️ WE’RE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS!
You don’t have to be a PTC member to help out! Whether you have an hour to volunteer at an event, want to help with a fundraiser, or just want to lend a hand when you can — we’d love to have you!

Interested in volunteering? Stop by the school office to complete your background check and learn more about the volunteer opportunities available.

📅 PTC MEETINGS
Our meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 3:30 PM. All families are welcome, and we’d love to see you there! Our lovely Miss Chandra provides childcare and snack while we have meetings. ❤️💙

🐍 AND THAT’S WHERE YOU COME IN!

Our Jog-a-Thon is our first fundraiser of the year, and every dollar raised helps us continue providing these opportunities for our Cobra students.

Whether you’re able to donate, help your child fundraise, purchase something from the Cobra Store, volunteer at an event, attend a meeting, or simply cheer our kids on — you are helping make these experiences possible. ❤️💙

We’re so excited to kick off this school year and show our families just how much our little Cobra community can accomplish together!

Thank you for supporting Central Linn PTC! 🐍❤️💙

Hey Cobras! ❤️🤍💙 Welcome back!! 🎉 we hope everyone had a great summer and is ready for another fun school year!

We’re getting things rolling and wanted to give everyone a heads-up that Jog-a-Thon is coming up October 8th! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ We’ll definitely need some volunteers to help make the day run smoothly, so we’d love to have as many of you as possible jump in!

We’ll also be reaching out throughout the year with different volunteer opportunities. If you’re able to help with an event, activity, setup/cleanup, or anything in between, keep an eye out and check in with us!

We’re so excited for another year supporting our Cobras! 🐍❤️💙

Today was the day—and wow, what a hit! 🎉

We had an amazing time with Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) at Central Linn Elementary today. The energy, the excitement, and the curiosity from our students made it such a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to OMSI for bringing hands-on science and big smiles to our school—we loved every minute of it! 🧪✨

We’re so grateful for opportunities like this that make learning come alive. 💙

We did our best to block out any student faces where needed, but if we missed anything, please feel free to reach out so we can fix it right away—thank you for your help! 😊
