Lots of fun this week!
Wednesday was April 1, I may have pulled off a few harmless pranks on our class. I will attach a video in separate posting.
In science we started learning about earth systems, water sources, and why water flows the the way it does (practiced that today with creating an elevation out of paper to represent hills and or mountains, colored the highest points, then sprayed with water to watch how the water would run off).
In reading/writing we worked on non-fiction text features this week. They had to fix a book about walruses which was missing several text features. Then today the students drew a monarch butterfly to practice labeling(another non-fiction text feature).
