Here are the dates of all our meetings this year for FFA! Reminder, you must attend meetings if you are showing under FFA at HJLS.

Membership fees also need to be paid. High School students are $25 and Jr. FFA members are $10. Please bring those to your meetings to be paid!

Parents, please plan to attend the Booster Club meetings as well while your students are at the FFA meetings those Monday nights!

Day 3 of Texas FFA Convention highlights!

Started the morning with our 5 voting delegates on the convention floor for Session 4! They heard more retiring addresses from current state officers and got to see FFA member, Jake Ressler, walk across the stage to receive his Texas FFA Scholarship from Rodeo Austin!

Session 5 brought more voting delegates that got to listen to our own Area XI State Vice President Maddison Diezi give her retiring address.

The night ended with Session 6- Fun Night! Everyone joined in on the theme of “Texas Nights, Neon Lights!” and were able to listen to the amazing talent teams from all 12 Areas of Texas FFA!

Tomorrow we will finish off convention by finding out who will be on the Texas FFA Travel Team for the upcoming school year!

Day 2 of State FFA Convention highlights!

Started the day with our voting delegates conducting official Texas FFA Business at the Business session and then we kicked off session #1 where FFA member, Aubrey Freytag, walked across the stage to receive her FFA Scholarship!

The second session allowed us to see FFA member, Jake Ressler, walk across the stage as a finalist for the John Justin Standard of the West Award and delegates were able to cast their vote for the next Texas FFA President by listening to the 12 candidate speeches of the upcoming officers!

Day 1 of State FFA Convention! Started the day with workshops and Lone Star Degree Ceremony. Then did some networking in the Exhibit hall. Spent some time this afternoon with some competitive bowling and rounded out the night attending the Aaron Watson concert! Ready for sessions to begin tomorrow!

Congratulations to our Hallettsville FFA members who earned their Lone Star FFA Degree! ⭐️💙💛

Today, Laney Bludau, Gabriel Dodson, Sophia Etzler, Kenley Kalmus, Mallory Maes, Ashlyn Pustka and Chandler Wimberly had the honor of walking across the main stage to receive this incredible recognition.

Also earning their Lone Star FFA Degree this year are Colton Dieringer and Brenna Smith

The Lone Star FFA Degree is the highest degree the Texas FFA Association can bestow upon its members, recognizing their dedication, leadership, and outstanding accomplishments in agricultural education.

We are incredibly proud of each of these members and all they have accomplished. Congratulations on this well-deserved achievement! 💙💛
