Sometimes progress doesn’t need to be perfect to be worth sharing. 🤍

When we started, we were building everything almost from zero — pitch, vocal coordination, confidence, and control.

Today Kirill sang “If I Can’t Love Her” and something truly clicked.
His intonation is becoming steadier, his voice is finding its direction, and most importantly — he is beginning to trust it.

For us, this is a big milestone.
Not because it’s perfect, but because we know how much work it took to get here.

🎭 Another audition. Another character brought to life.

Nicole is working on “Woe Is Me” from The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee — and one of the things that continues to impress me is her natural ability to truly step into a character.

Musical theatre is so much more than singing the right notes. It’s about understanding the character, making clear acting choices, telling the story, and allowing the voice, expression, and movement to work together.

Nicole has a wonderful instinct for this. She doesn’t simply sing a song — she finds the character and tells their story. 🎶🎭

This was another audition we prepared for together, focusing on vocal technique, character development, interpretation, and confident performance.

So proud to watch her continue growing as a young musical theatre performer. ❤️

🎹✨ Big milestone today!

Today, 4-year-old Naftali played with both hands for the very first time! 💛

Yes, it was just two notes — C and G — but every great musician starts with one small step. Watching little hands learn coordination, confidence, and the joy of making music is one of my favorite parts of teaching.

Progress isn’t about playing complicated pieces.
It’s about building strong foundations with patience, encouragement, and lots of smiles. 🌟

Nothing makes me happier than seeing my students on stage, doing what they love.

Tonight’s musical was beautifully produced—with outstanding direction, choreography, scenography, dramaturgy, and incredible performances. I’m so proud of Nicole and grateful to be a small part of her artistic journey.

As the new school year approaches, I’m excited to welcome new singers who are ready to grow, build confidence #, and shine on stage. ✨🎭

🎭 Every performance begins long before the stage.

While many are taking a break, some students keep showing up.

Nina is preparing for her next audition with “Red Shoes Blues,” bringing not only her voice but also storytelling, emotion, and character to every rehearsal.

Success isn’t built on talent alone. It’s built on consistency, discipline, and the decision to keep working when no one is watching.
