Today we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss 🎉📚

Through our VESS Model, we turned his stories into powerful learning experiences encouraging curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and joyful exploration.

From rhymes to reflection, our children didn’t just read… they thought, imagined, and connected their learning to the world around them. 💡✨

This June, our Summer Camp invites children ages 5–8 to learn through play, inquiry, and real-world experiences — guided by caring educators who make thinking visible every day.

This month, our thinkers are exploring the Unit of Inquiry: Animation ✨

They took the risk of creating their own characters, drawing them, and describing them using their imagination. Then, they brought their ideas to life by using a digital program to animate their creations.

Our students reasoned with evidence to explain how their characters were “alive,” and they went beyond the topic by reflecting on the entire creative process.

🧠 Mental Function Highlight – Creative Thinking & Metacognition
Through this project, students demonstrated creative thinking by generating original ideas and transforming them into animated characters. They also showed metacognition, thinking about their own thinking, as they reflected on the steps they took, the choices they made, and how their ideas evolved from drawing to animation.

We are proud of the way they imagined, created, reasoned, and reflected! 🎬💡
